  • Minor allele is the risk allele. There is a positive association for the SNP with SLE for an OR greater than 1. For references 19*, 20* and 23*, the positive association is with SLE and LN for those SNPs and cohorts. The entire TNIP1 gene was sequenced in GWAS and that particular variant was sequenced in genotyping studies.
